I love these shoes and so does my husband!They are tall enough that as my food slid forward (down) in them I had to use heel pads to take up space in the back because they sloppped on and off when I walked in them.I almost made it through a whole day at work with them as they were decently comfortable.I got LOTS of looks and comments about them.They are higher than my normal shoe so my ankles were a bit sore and strained after a full day.Not sure I''ll wear them again for a full day of work, but definitely for date night. I love shoes.I like high heels, I like patent leather, I don''t typically get excited about a flip flop.However, this one is the exception.While it doesn''t exactly add much to any of my outfits, it is super comfortable and works well for my early, early morning swims and trips to the farmers market.I got the solid black pair and I find that I have them on just about every day at some point.While they are a bit expensive for a flop, I think they are going to prove well worth the money.This shoe is well constructed and feels like it has the heft to last through quite a few summers.I especially like the contour of it...it''s not flat like a typical flip flop and it so comfortable on the foot!Also, I found it was very true to size....I go back and forth between an 8 1/2 and a 9 depending on the shoe.I ordered the 9 and it fits perfectly.

This sandal runs a little small on the foot base. The straps are also a bit tighter on the foot. I am happy with it and would say overall the sizing is consistent for the chaco shoe. So go with your normal size just keep in mind the two factors above. Love this flip. Very comfortable footbed and durable materials. You can wash this in the washing machine and it comes out brand spanking new.

I have heard from friends that these are the most comfortable flip flops on the market and that they are good for walking.I have repeatedly tried to wear them and I find them to be painfully uncomfortable to the point that even wearing them to run out to get the paper is unpleasant.I believe that these shoes are made for people with arches, but I have very flat feet so it feels like something hard is pressing up against the bottom of my foot.

Modern Vintage Women''s Sylvia Boot

I don''t how what''s up with Modern Vintage. I used to love their shoes but recently they have gone into shoes with super high heels. I initially loved these boots the wedge makes for great stability and the height didn''t seem daunting. However, I had to return these boots for 2 reasons:

(1) the finish of the boots is different the front is polished smooth like calf leather and the rest is tumbled like cow leather. Good idea, except when you put your feet into the boots, it causes the front to crease badly even worse when only 1 side does it which is what happened to me.

(2) I wore the boots around the house and it didn''t take long before I started having lower back pain. I attribute this to the height of these boots (4inches) and how stiff it is.

I have tried a few Modern Vintage shoes this year and found the same problem. Too high and ill fitting.

This is the first online "shoe" purchase I have ever made due to the fact my size depends on the shoe. It can go from 9, 9 1/2 to 10. The majority of my shoes are 9 1/2, in some boots I wear a 10. In reading the reviews and trying to avoid the hassle of having to return the boots, I went with 9 1/2. The fit is perfect! For the height of the heel the shoe is VERY comfortable, wore them at work (8-5 desk job with some walking around) have no complaints. Not sure if I could wear them out on the town all night, but that''s only due to the heel height and not the comfort of the shoe.
