I have my own cleaning business and I''m on my feet all day. Recently we were going on vacation and I needed a sandal with some support and definetely comfort for my tired old feet. A catalogue of mine had suggested this sandal. Well, I decided to go out on a limb, spend the extra money and try them. Much to my surprise, they are worth every last penny. We walked and walked all over the resort and I didn''t even need to brake them in. I would recommend this sandal to anyone, especially those with problem feet.

I bought my first pair ofSoftwalk sandal last year and loved it. This year the Tahiti Gladiator sandals seemed to be build on the same model as my first pair.

I would have preferred a bronze color and was a bit worried about the gold being gaudy but it is not, the color is fine and can be worn with warm or cool colors so it is quite versatile.

I have the Spenco women''s arch supports for over 2 years now, and they''re just as good as when I first got them.They offer true support and comfort at an amazingly low price.Believe me, I''ve had custom made orthotics as well as cheaper ones such as the ones made by Lynco, and these Spenco ones are my favorite.They easily can be molded to your specific foot shape.They also have a foam type padding on top that makes them comfy to wear and very durable.They''re easy to clean as well.I highly recommend them!

Having worn custom orthotics, I was interested in trying the Spenco orthotic because it had a rigid base and was adjustable.The instructions for adjustment were very sparse, stating to place them in boiling water for 2 minutes and to then adjust as desired.This did not work for me, as I would have hoped that the plastic base would have been more malleable, and it was difficult to hold in position while waiting for it to cool.Customer service said to place it in a shallow pan of boiling water, turn the heat off and wait for 2 minutes and then adjust.This did not work for me either.Finally, I placed the orthotic in my bench vise to hold it in the adjustment that I wanted and used a heat gun to heat theplastic bottom of the orthotic.After leaving it in the vise for a few minutes to cool, it held the shape the I desired and they are very satisfactory to me.

I love the WARRANTY--one year UNCONDITIONAL warranty--if they do not help you or you are dissatisfied, return them to the manufacturer for a full refund--now that is confidence in their product!

The orthotics seem of good quality and their adjustability is a big selling point for me, though it is a little bit of a hassle to do the adjustment.If there is another brand that is adjustable, I would like to know it.I am considering buying a couple of more of these orthotics to have for each pair of shoes.

Of course,it helps to practise in them since they are so high; some dance moves might be more difficult in them without shifting your weight accordingly. I am 5''8 and with these shoes I am 6''2, so my highly-elevated centre of gravity might play a large role in the adjustment! The secret compartment is fun and useful. I love not having to worry about carrying a purse, or leaving cash in my locker, or double-checking my garter to see if my money is still there. I purchased these for water aerobics class. The negative reviews regarding the traction (and safety) made me hesitate a long while before purchasing them but they are EXACLY what I''m looking for in a water shoe for class -a flat/mary jane style shoe that would give me some traction and protect my feet and toes from the rough pool floor. But I wanted something light and flexible so I didn''t feel like I was wearing sneakers in the pool. They''re a good brand and the price is excellent for water shoes. They feel great -skin tight but comfortable. They stay on my feet underwater and out. The insoles are removable (and yet not a bother while I''m working out). They dry really fast too. There are great water shoes! I LOVE them!

I wear a standard 7.5 shoe but I ordered the 7.0 thanks to the helpful reviews and they fit perfect. I got them in Ocean Blue and the color was just like it was pictured.

Regarding their slipperiness: Any shoe used on a wet surface that is flat (and shiny), like tile, will be slippery, even sneakers and bare feet. My club''s pool has cement-like floor but has some line tiles as well and the shoe still gives me traction on those. Even walking across the basketball court or the tiled floor in the locker room, they feel rubbery and I feel traction across the floors. Of course I walk carefully, you''re supposed to when you''re dripping water onto the floor you''re walking on.

The first reviewer must have been wearing them on a textured surface or something. They were fine when the surface was bone dry or when I was on carpet. Once I got them wet, though, all the physical properties of the sole''s grip changed.

In the two swim classes I wore these shoes to, I fell from standing upright to flat on the concrete four different times between the locker room and the pool edge and lost my footing in the pool itself too many times to count. My hipbone still hurts from the impact with the tiles.

I took these back to the store I got them from, warned them that they might be OK for beach wear but were a hazard in indoor pool settings, and picked out a type with a different sole texture. (From my comparison at the store, these and the Speedos with the zipper on top have a very similar sole plastic and texture, and the pull-on ones with the drawstrings have a different texture. Here''s hoping the different-textured ones turn out less hazardous to wear around wet concrete and tile.)

I was very hesitant to buy shoes online because they never seem to work out. I bought these in a size 6 (my usual size), in aqua and it fit perfectly. If you have wide feet, the material is stretchable enough to accommodate for that. Physically, it is a gorgeous shoe and very, very comfortable. We took it whitewater rafting and it stood the test of class 4/5 rapids. My girl friend got hers in black/pink but I think the aqua one was much prettier. I can not wear high heels due to bunion problems. I''ve been wearing low heels or flats on dressy occasions these past few years. Flats may not be the best look at times for dressy occasions or for certain styles. This shoe was listed under ''comfort'' category. The heel appears high but the front of the shoe is stacked so the actual lift is not as steep as it appears. I have worn this around the home for a brief time and so far it seems tolerable. Clarks Women''s Artisan Society Ball Pump

I have multiple physical issues: (large feet: size 11 M; major reconstructive surgery on both feet and 3 spine surgeriesso proper shoes are crucial for me). First, the shoes are much "cuter" and more fashionable than they appear in the picturethey do a great job of bridging the style gap between sensibility and comfort and the adorable, higher heeled pumps that I wish I could wear. I can definitely wear these with a skirt and not feel matronlywith trousers they are perfect and for a larger footthe heel is high enough to direct attention up the leg rather than across the length of my extra long footwithout being to high to cause discomfort or unhealthy distribution of weight and posture . Becuase of my physical problems, the heel height was approaching questionable for me but I wasn''t ready to resign myself (just yet, I''m only 53) to a less stylish (lower heel or wedge) and I find that these do not pitch me so far forward as to cause problems with my post-surgical feet, or the ball of my footwhich absolutely takes a beating in the higher heels I wore when younger (and sillier). I find these Clarks true to sizethough my full-shoe orthotics may not fitI''ll know after I break them in a bit (my feet have spread as a result of wearing house slippers since my most recent spinal surgery 6 months ago) in every other size 11 M I own I can wear my orthotics without a problemso I''m inclined to think that it''s not the sizing of the shoe that is the potential issue here when it comes to accommodating my orthotics. These shoes also lend themselves to adding additional ornaments that can be clipped onto the toe area (a vintage pair of zazzy earrings perhaps?). They are the cushy, well constucted shoes one would expect from Clarks and if I find that I can''t wear these on my 12 hour work shifts running around the hospital I''ll still keep them for a variety of other functions. You can wear them to church, to work or for an evening out. I recommend giving them a try if you''re on the fence.

I purchase Clarks shoes quite often but sadly I have to return this pair. They run so big that I am falling out of them which is a shame because they are even prettier in person.
