For a long time, I was searching for plain, suede boots with a zipper up the side in stores such as DSW, Famous Footwear, etc. Thanks to Amazon, I found just what I was looking for. I got these boots in Taupe, but the color is really more of a dark brown. I ordered a 6 and a half, which is my size, and they''re a little tight, but I think they just need some breaking into. The suede is really soft, real leather. I have small calves, so I wear the buckles on the tightest size. This adjustability is great because I couldn''t find boots that fit my calves for a long time. You can also loosen them if you have thicker calves.
Additionally, the price is great! $40 for leather boots is wonderful. I would have gotten the gray ones if they had my size for $40, but the brown ones are cute, too. They''ve got kind of a slouchy look, which I don''t like so much, but it''s not too emphasized so they still look tight and sleek. The buckles are pretty small, too, which I also like. I was looking for boots that would keep me warm while wearing either jeans or leggings, and this is just the thing, especially since they go up over your calves. I live in Maryland, though, so it''s not too harsh a climate. I only just discovered Naughty Monkeythey actually have great shoes! If you''re looking for soft, fashionable, affordable leather boots, this is just what you need!
