These shoes are good looking and comfortable enough for my 4 1/2-year-old to wear on a daily basis. However...I bought these shoes on September 6 for my son, who was required to wear dress shoes for private school junior kindergarten.He wore them three hours a day, five days a week, for just over a month.Almost immediately, we noticed that the heavy buckle would flip open, causing the shoe to fall off during normal wear.By October 14, the scuffs were beginning to reveal a leather quality that was not ideal.And, worst of all, the velcro pieces were pulling apart from the shoe.Perhaps my son''s shoes were just an abnormal pair?The shoes were made in China, and I hate to say it, but the quality reflects it.I expected better from this brand.Ordered these shoes for my son who was a ringbearer in a wedding.They looked great, he liked wearing them, and they are very easy to put on due to the velcro under the buckle.I ordered an additional pair a size larger because I liked them so much.

Big and bulky my son cannot walk well in them. Will be returning he is 15 months and between sizes 4 and 5 they seem to be cut a tad large.

These look great on and are quite comfortable. The heel height is just right for me, stylish without killing my feet. The shaft opening is perfect too, I can stuff skinny jeans in no problem, but they still fit under bootcuts. I originally ordered the taupe color but the toes were overburnished for my taste (they looked like dog noses on the end of my feet, lol) so I sent them back and ordered the black. I am now very happy with the color the brown straps give a cool contrast and create more color-match options with the rest of my accessories. These are amazing boots, and I wanted to love them, but they were not depicted accurately. I was expecting a dark, chocolate brown for the brown suede pair that I ordered. However, the boots were actually more of a reddish or auburn than chocolate brown. It almost looks like the colours are reversed for the ''chocolate leather'' and ''brown suede''. Or perhaps I got a one-off mistake in shipping, although the boots I received were DEFINITELY suede and not smooth leather.They fit true to size (I am a narrow size 8, in every shoe I''ve ever tried), the buckle/strap is really cute, the heel is the perfect comfortable height, and the suede is good quality, but the reddish brown just doesn''t work for me. Had to return, might try again with black.

These are comfortable, very attractive shoes, but I''ve only had them for a few weeks and the belt has already started to look a little worn down. Certainly was not expecting this for such an expensive pair. They also fit a little bigger than standard sizes, so if you''re trying to pick between sizes, go with the smaller. I''m usually a 7.5 and was swimming inside these. 7s worked just fine.

I absolutely love these shoes. The fit is amazing they are the most comfortable heels I have ever bought. They''re also true to size I''m usually a 7 and with cheaper brands / designers I notice I have to get a 6.5, they seem to be made for bigger feet. These are a 7 and they fit perfectly, even on my flat feet.I left off a star because the "belt" looks a tad cheap, but even still they are gorgeous. I''m sure with regular wear they''ll get that "worn-in" look and will look even more amazing.

Two complaints, first off I have ordered two pairs of these for my girlfriend and both have arrived with a split in one sole but not the other. Also the Gold color is Gold not the Green Gold color thats in the picture. I dont know about how well they work as I sent back both pairs (free shipping back and no problems on getting my money back). So product suck but customer service is killer.

Very cute sandal, but there is no back strap as shown in the picture. Ordered a size 11. The description doesn''t state anything about there not being a back strap. Maybe the smaller sizes have one. Disappointing since my Granddaughter is only 3.This item was purchased a second time around because I thought the first pair was faulty but the second pair did the exact thing and started to unstuck at the front. Its not like they are worn on an everyday basics. So I would have to give these sandals a no no for me.

EMU Australia Men''s Bubba Slipper
I purchased the EMU Men''s Bubba just a couple days ago, and paid for overnight shipping. I received them today. At first impression, I was very happy to see they had the color of the Bubba''s shown on EMU''s own website they are not so orange, but rather tan as they should be. I immediately put them on with a light weight crew sock. Normally I wear a size 11 US in most shoes. Having read reviews on other EMU slippers, I followed the advice and ordered a full size larger (size 12 US). My left foot is just a fraction of an inch longer than my right foot, so I was a little surprised that the RIGHT slipper was a little more snug than the left. Nevertheless, they felt very comfortable. I new that if I traded up to a 13 they would be much to large. As far as comfort goes, they felt amazing! Like walking in pillows warm, soft, and very breathable! In that sense, they do not disappoint. Unfortunately, (and here''s the gotcha''), after wearing them for only two hours, the arch (or tongue) on top of the left slipper began tearing away from the stitching, leaving a tear about a half inch long! Not what I expected from EMU. After all...EMU is owned by UGG Australia. Close inspection of the shoes leads me to believe they are of generally good quality. I could not see any other areas that looked like they might also tear at the stitching. It appears this may be a manufacturing defect in this pair. So, I am sending them back for an exchange of the same size and color, and will try one more time. I was pleasantly surprised this evening to find that Amazon will be sending me a new pair right away, and they are sending UPS to pick these up (pre-paid by Amazon). So I won''t have to wait until they get mine back before receiving a new pair. You can''t complain about that kind of customer service. Amazon is top notch! I''ll return in a few days to post another review with new information about my new pair. In closing, I wouldn''t discourage anyone from ordering these slippers. They are probably well-worth the gamble at this price. Especially knowing how great Amazon is to work with. You''ll often read statements from reviewers of slippers that "they slip off my heel", or "they dont fit like my shoes". I''ve owned slippers most of my life (I''m 47) and I should say that slippers NEVER fit like shoes! They aren''t supposed to. Unless you buy a pair that is quite snug, all slippers are likely to slip a little at the heel. Youi should expect it...I actually like the fact they don''t feel as tight as shoes or I''d just wear shoes, right? Finally, I do suggest you order one full size larger than you normally wear. The thick shearling lining takes up a lot of space. Ordering a size larger will allow you to wear some light to medium weight socks, or to even go bearfoot with your slippers. I hope I''ve covered enough points to help you out with YOUR decision!These shoes are extremely comfortable to wear, especially with socks.You can wear them indoors and out.I bought size 12, though I''m usually a size 13, and they were a bit constrictive around the big toe and pinky toe.I used shoe stretch and walked in these for a few hours and they now fit great, very comfortable.I find myself wanting to put these on rather than just wearing socks around the house.Would recommend!

Just received these attractive sandals, which are pretty light weight for a sandal with reasonably good tread (lighter than Tivas or Chacas).There are three ways to adjust them so they fit my EE feet fine on the first walk.The size 8W was almost 3/4 inch longer at the toe end, so I won''t be stubbing my toes on rocks.However, I am wondering if a 7.5 would have also left enough space.My primary purpose is to use these for hiking on amenable trails and for creek crossings and camp shoes.My previous foam sandals got me into serious trouble on a backpack last year, since the tread was inadequate to prevent slipping and breaking an arm on a steep slope down to a lake.One broken arm later, I realized tread is far more important than ultralight.

I really loved the look of this shoe and the heel height is perfect and comfortable.Unfortunately, the ankle part was very wide for me and it was very obvious.I was sorry to have to return it.Relatively comfortable the first day and getting better with additional wear.Looks great with jeans and skirts.The only problem I had was that the back (top) rubbed against my skin when walking the first couple of times I wore them.It seems to be getting better though.

The platform is covered with some kind of a suede type material, so theoretically would scratch easy.
The "carnation" decor at the top is made of suede so has a bit of dullness to it, making it look a little dusty.
