I had a few of the cheap types of these boots from old navy and such but they couldn''t actually keep my feet WARM in winter and I couldn''t really justify the price for Uggs. I had heard of Bear Paw and so decided on these because I loved the style.
Color: Ordered the chocolate and they really pretty true to color, being a lush dark brown suade. The inner lining is a dark brown shearling and the lining under the actual foot (interior) is a tan.
Sizing: I''m normally 8.5 in ladies (US) and I ordered a size 9. When I first recieved them, they were SNUG. And that''s sitting down, not walking/standing! I was worried they were too small as my big toe seemed under constant assault from hitting the end of the boot when I walked but it wasn''t too bad. After I broke them in (about a week of daily wearing for a few hours at a time), they fit PERFECT. Roomy, spacious, etc etc, as if taylored for my feet. I''m told that with these style of boots that generally happens. But I was really worried there for a second!
Quality: no issues with shearling shedding (another review mentioned it)(well, aside from one small bit when I first put them on, but none since). The sewing looks good after pretty much (now) constant wear. I did waterproof them after breaking them in and have not had an issue with water at all. I haven''t exactly gone puddle splashing to test HOW waterproof they were, but I''ve been dry in the rain. The only issue I''ve had was present when I first pulled them out of the box and it looks like excess glue around the outer base of the left boot. It''s still there, I wasn''t going to mess with it. It doesn''t bother ME that much (or prevent me from wearing them at all), but those little dashes of white glue are pretty noticeable (to me anyway).
Odds and Ends: WARM!!! Oh they keep my feet toasty! If it''s not cold enough (Jeans and shorts weather/inside temperature) I actually have to take them off or my feet get hot. But I also was sitting for 20 minutes in 29 degree weather waiting for someone last week and my feet were the only part of my body that wasn''t cold. I haven''t had any issues with water but I waterproofed them before exposure to rain. They''re short enough to wear under jeans but most times I can tuck my jeans in them no problem. The tag on the inside will sometimes irritate my ankles, but that''s a small thing. I could cut it off or wear longer socks (generally wear ankle socks w/these boots).
Highly recommend these boots. They have a nice thick rubber sole (no foam!) which is a must for constant walking downtown. They fit amazing, look amazing, and keep my tootsies toasty. A better boot I could not ask for.

So these boots have survived Winter! Practical updates: Still very warm, but a good bit looser now. The padding on the bottom of the boot so the sole isn''t as thick as it was (you can feel the ground). Some of the threading has come a bit loose on the outside of the boot, still holds fine so far though (no separation). I still love these boots and I did, in all fairness, wear them practically everyday from the time I got them until the weather warmed up. Now I still wear them inside (the AC is set low in my house) or outside on very cool nights. Just a heads up.
I am very happy with this purchase. Color was accurate and they seem well made. I like the slight heel and they have arch support that some types of similar boots don''t have. They are very soft and well cushioined inside. I ordered size 7(usually wear 6.5) and they fit fine. Love em!

I am super excited about these boots! I was determined to find a good quality winter boot that wasn''t horribly ugly or expensive. Sure, the other boots looked cute, but with foam soles and cheaply made, I was fed up. I decided on these because they have a good sole and could be waterproofed since I have to hike in the snow in the winter. They are made of thick material and hopefully will stand up with some wear and tare. They are super warm and comfy but a little snug. I normally wear a 5 1/2 to a 6 so i ordered a 6 and its a little tight around the calf. ( so I would suggest also ordering a size up)Im sure it will loosen up a big over time and they are less likely to get snow in them! I also like it that they are tall and slender enough that my pants can go over them. Over all, with the price and quality, you can''t beat them.

I love these boots! I''m not a winter person, but now I''m not afraid of snow or ice, in fact I can''t wait till it snows again, so I''ll have a reason to wear my ''Paws!
The lining is so soft, it feels like wearing my fuzzy slippers! I can slip them on without socks to take the dog for a run, or with socks for extra warmth.
The traction is great, I have slipped less than my husband, and he is very steady in the ice and snow. The only time I slipped was on sheet ice, and I had to try! Very nice, as I have fallen before, nice not to be afraid!
The quality is great, I can''t find a thing wrong with these boots except that I need more! I want a pair in every color and wish the Meadows came in blue.

I was nervous about wearing these Ellie shoes because they are 8" so I expected them to look "too much" for my feet and legs. But they are the perfect height and size for the design, which is done in red and black glitter, and they do an excellent job of accentuating the legs. What I was most pleased about was how light they are for 8" heels. They feel weighted and secure in your hands but are not so heavy that they weigh you down like some shoes I''ve handled. They are a little narrow, though, which surprised me, but the plastic stretches with your feet and after a few minutes it''s no longer uncomfortable. These are my first pair of 8" heels and I am absolutely thrilled. They don''t feel wobbly or too high at all and do a great job of supporting my ankles. The arch is comfortable as well. I don''t have high arches in my feet so finding both sexy and comfortable shoes can be a problem so I was extra pleased with the arch. The highest heel that I''ve gone before these was 6 3/4" and these blended right in with my transition. These shoes are both sexy and beautiful and are sure to catch any onlooker''s eye. I''m very happy with them!!
