I am not disappointed. Although I doubt the fitness claims I have never worn a more... er, comfortable pair of sandals.And I like the way they look, too.

I couldn''t find this style for women so I did the math (2 size numbers down) and bought these men''s. They are very very nice.The heel base is a bit wider than what I''m used to in the shape-ups which was a nice surprise and very comfortable since I''ll be standing for long stretches.It manages to give some foot stabilization without sacrificing much in the exercise function.I guess that''s the unwind/extended wear thing.I bought them for painting in my hot studio this summer, and for the safety of a covered toe when I package my paintings for shipping.They are perfect.I''ll probably be wearing them everywhere, paint splatters notwithstanding.

The heel is pretty high, but it''s not all that noticeable unless you''re walking in steep areas. I ordered these boots last year, and while I am very happy with them I wish I had ordered a 7.5 instead of my ussual 8. I have to wear a thick wool sock with them to keep my foot from slipping and to keep the boot up. I have an athletic calf and was suprised to see how much room I have in these. This Propel Scandia looks good, very light weight, fits well enough.I have wide feet, and this shoe is wide enough. The velcro closure is also just fine.

I removed the liner, and installed my custom orthotic. The fit is a bit tight, especially with medium thick socks.

However, the sole of the shoe is cheap plastic.I live in Minnesota, and I want all my shoes, even my "indoor shoes" to work while walking to work or to a parking lot, if we have a little snow or ice. The sole of this shoe is slippery plastic.

I have bought cheaper shoes with real rubber soles.This shoe is OK, but if you live in a place which has winter, look elsewhere.

I purchased these shoes for my father-in-law.Service was prompt.I live in Florida and he lives in Michigan.They are great for a senior citizen as he can close the velco strip and is ready to go.At first he wasn''t sure of the color but on placing the shoes in sunlight it was determined that they were a very dark brown.
