Haflinger Women''s AS Slipper

These are definitely worth the cost. My first pair lasted five years. They are warm and sturdy. I''d tried buying a cheaper pair that were a different brand (Acorn), but they weren''t sturdy and I couldn''t walk in them because it was like wearing a pair of slippery socks with a hard sole, so it was a waste of time and money. These have a good sole and are made of a heavy wool that holds your foot in so you''re not slipping all around when you walk in them or when you go up and down stairs. I highly recommend these.

My wife and I are on our second set of Haflingers, and I just cross my fingers that they never go out of business. Our entire house is covered with hardwood floors. Most wool slippers have a rubber or plastic sole which scrapes and scuffs the floors. My theory is that if you can hear a slipper contacting the hardwood, then there can be some level of abrasion. The soft sole wool Haflinger, however, glides like felt and arguably cleans your floors as you shuffle. The design and quality of detail is top quality without spots of misfit sharp edges, and the seams/stitches are reinforced.The slipper simply feels like a high quality soft shoe. I finally got rid of my old pair after 6 years, which is long past the due date of any shoe that I''ve ever owned.

Except, about six months later they are falling apart and not at all comfortable.For the price, six months is way too short of a life span.I would not buy them again.

ECCO Men''s Yucatan Sandal

I have plantar fasciitis which means that walking creates heel pain unless I use my orthopedic inserts. Orthopedic inserts and sandals are not an attractive combination so I sought out sandals that were built to accommodate "problem feet". I have several pairs of ECCO shoes that were recommended by a podiatrist and they work exceptionally well. Extending this train of thought, I went and purchased these ECCO sandals to see if I could obtain good results. Having worn them daily for a few weeks I find that they work great without the orthopedic inserts and I don''t have any heel pain. They are more expensive than other brands but they are worth it in my opinion. Nice styling, superb build quality and great comfort pretty much sums up my experience with these sandals.

These sandals are the most commfortable I''ve ever had-far better than Birkenstock. I have very flat feet and proper support is parmonut.Normally, I wear Murray Space Shoes. Wearing my ECCOs is like walking downhill, all the way.

I''ve worn Birkenstock sandals for years.When the time came to buy some new ones, I couldn''t find the Birks that I like in my size.I bought some El-cheapo sandals at a chain shoe store, and after wearing them for just a couple of days, my feet were killing me.Needing something else, I decided to get my first pair of ECCO Yucatan sandals.

Let me tell you, they are worth every penny.The arch support is amazing.The material used to make the treads doesn''t slip, even on my back porch after it rains. The leather straps are first rate. My feet don''t hurt, even after walking a mile on my neighborhood streets.

I may ultimately goback to my hippy-style, slip on Birks, but for now, I love my ECCOs

Tried three pairs of ECCO Yucatans over three successive years and finally gave up. First year extremely comfortable but then developed a horrible footbed smell that I couldn''t get rid of and pitched. Next year advertised a new antimicrobial footbed, enjoyed them for the summer and odor problems pretty much eliminated BUT the material cover (like the previous year) started to delaminate, the cloth went all stringy.

Well, I thought perhaps I had just got them wet too many times, cut the shreds off down to the rubber base and tolerated them. The sole covering is very comfortable... when it is intact. Last summer I found them on sale, and like a fool bought them again. They are truly very comfortable, offer great support and look good too. I babied them throughout the summer, kept them dry, wore them mostly indoors BUT by the end of the fall the foot cover AGAIN began to delaminate. At $80-100 a shot I just can''t get suckered again. Bought a pair of Tevas and, while not as stylish, or airy, offer good support and are show absolutely no wear after walking and hiking for months. ECCO needs to really do some value reengineering on these. It can be done. I have a pair of Montrail light hikers and they have lasted for over 15 years or heavy use and are just starting to show their age. KEENS, although not as comfortable, wear very well. Just such a disappointment with these ECCOS I really feel like Charlie Brown and the football after three successive years of failure with these sandals. Can''t say I didn''t give them a huge chance.

They are really nice looking shoes and very comfortable.Just pay attention to the size.I am a 9 and had to get them in 10( 26cm long).

I followed everyone else''s advice and got a size bigger. They arrived really quick and when I put them on they where actually big, not too big. They where only a half size to big if that. If I decided to return them and get a size smaller they would squish my feet. I like them alot though. Your feet dont feel cramped, they are very spacious. Easy to walk in, I like them so much that I''m thinking about wearing them as my wedding shoes (its a goth wedding) :) I would recommend them.

These shoes are adorable, you won''t regret the purchase...if you follow the advice in the reviews and ORDER A SIZE UP! The quality was surprisingly good, the heel isn''t too high and the toe is rounded so no pinching. They might be the most versatile pair of shoes I own (and I own a lot of shoes!). They are fancy enough for formal wear, but cute enough to wear with jeans without looking overdressed.

I bought two pairs in size 11 (I normally wear a size 10):

The black/white pinstripe pair are a little tighter, and not as comfortable, but they do fit.

These shoes are super cute! They are very comfortable and easy to walk in. The ankle strap gives you more stability because the wedge and platform are kinda high. I love the stripes on the wedge because it gives you an idea of what color shirts you can match with these shoes (other than the obvious shade of pink).the only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the criss cross at the toe of the shoe. I have very flat, slim feet and the criss cross don''t exactly touch my toes. There is a gap between how high the cross goes and where my toes are in the shoe, but I put some heel cusions under my toes and now it touches nicely. It was an easy fix soo overall I love the shoes.
