I have been ballroom dancing for over half a year now and a few months back I decided it was time to get myself a proper pair of dancing shoes.I figure it was practice shoes so I didn''t want to spend to much. I found a pair that had good reviews for under $40.It was raved as a very light and comfortable but I felt it was a bit too light and it didn''t fit as well as this one nor look as nice, plus it did not have a suede bottom, and for me personally, I prefer a higher heel.I returned it and opted to up my max price in my search and found this pair for under $70.I''m glad I did.Having a good quality pair of shoes does make a difference. I''ve been dancing in it a few times a week for the past month.My husband suggested that I get a second pair!
Pros:
looks great, it looks like a nice pair of street shoes, though I doubt you would want to do that and mess up the suede bottom, tasteful color choices in my opinion

the buckle (for lack of proper word) is one I''ve never seen before, but wish I would see them in regular shoes more. you adjust it as you normally with with regard to size (which btw it has many width holes to choose from) but it is not secured the main part of the shoe. on the main shoe side, it has a hook where you slide the strap into. it took me a bit to get used to this esp. if you try to do a tight fit.But it is sooooooo much easier than aiming for the hole everytime.I rarely ever buy shoes with straps due to my impatience

people with wider feet might not like the tightness in the front but I''m borderline wide and it fits comfortably now that it''s broken in, for dancing esp. I think the enclosed toe shoes are more comfortable, so despite the slight crowded feeling, it should not be a deal breaker
some may not like the satin fabric

What a beautiful shoe! The straps, the bow! They were so comfortable when I tried them on. Fabulous padded insole, secure strap, slim heel. I ordered a 5.5, 6, and 6.5 to make sure I had the perfect fit. The 6 felt best...it''s also the size that fits me most often (not always) in dance shoes; whereas I''m usually a 6.5 in street shoes. At the end of one hour of dancing, both of my big toes and the top of one foot were bleeding where the shoe had dug in. I really hoped they would break-in so I wore them briefly 3 other times...with adhesive bandages. They still dug in enough to reopen the sores that were under the bandages. I guess my search continues for a cute *and* comfortable smooth shoe.

This is my 3rd pair of Capezio dance shoes and absolutely love them.They fit true to my size, have excellent arch support and heel cushioning plus have a stylish and elegant look.The soft peach satin color is very pretty and quite neutral (I''m going to get a can of Scotchguard to protect the light color) and the leather trim and bow are a slightly contrasting metallic leather. The only change I''d make would be to the strap wish it was in the more durable leather instead of the satin.It''s hard for me to find attractive dance shoes that provide comfort and support without a significant break-in period, but these felt great from the beginning. These are keepers. They come with a pretty satin draw string carrying bag and heel protectors. Delivery was on time, too.

Beautiful comfortable shoe.I have the Peach Alicia in the 2" and it is very comfortable.I had to order a full size smaller than street shoe. The only issue with this order was that I ordered a 2.5" but the shoe in the box was a 3".No issues at all with return and refund.This shoe is worth the money.

I got the black and purple one and they are beautiful.The are true to size.I am not use to wearing high heel at all but I was able to wear this pair for my dance lessons.At the beginning, i was having trouble balancing but a few lessons in, it got easier.the little bow at the back is so pretty and I got so many compliments on these shoes.Love them.I actually went ahead and bought the white ones as well.the white ones is not as white as the picture shoes.it''s more like a light tan color.
Wow the quality of this shoe is great, leather lined. Size is true to fit, Gold color is like the picture and gives the shoe a dressy look, but I am sure could be worn with jeans/capri. You can''t bet the price if you can get it at the low end. I am going to see if there are any left! Bottom is skid proof and shows good workmanship and thought in design. The front is very flexible and feels comfortable. Looks like a great wedding reception shoe to dance in.
