Michael Antonio Women''s Gemma Wedge Sandal

I absolutely love this wedge sandal. In short: I walked an entire day in them, with a good amount of walking, including stairs and running for a train all while toting bags and luggage!

It is quite high, so the comfort of the height will depend on your personal comfort of walking in high heels, but personally, I find this wedge is really well made making the height of the heel very manageable.

The strap around the ankle is nice and wide, allowing me to secure it tightly without digging into my skin. The strap across the back of the heel is also placed very well so that I am actually able to just slip them on really quickly for a quick run to the car without have to do up the buckle this is very important as that indicates that the entire pressure of keeping the heel in place will not be placed entirely on the ankle strap.

Another very important feature is the continuous inner sole. Very often sandals will have a break in the sole just at the base of the toes and the ball of the foot. While this seems fine, over time the edge starts to loosen a bit, lifting the edge and by the end of a day that can feel like the proverbial grain of sand that has turned into a sharp boulder!

Bottom line, having gotten this one at an amazing deal, I would now pay full price for another one or two in different colours!

This shoe runs true to size. It''s not that comfortable for a wedge, but it''s do-able. The left shoe buckle somehow digs into my ankle (ouch) I like them enough to not send them back over this small issue. manufacturer defect? I just put a tiny piece of clean make-up sponge between my skin and buckle, pain gone, poof!They have a cool, unique look, lots of compliments, And that ladies is why we wear heels!

Beautiful shoes but not at all comftorable, where the straps are stiched together caused bleeding, on both feet, love the look but couldnt wear them more than 5 minutes unfortunatly no happy at all with this product. if they had put a little more time into the comfort as well as look they might have had something here.
