The boot was just as cute as I assumed it would be, and I love the rich cognac color. I almost never wear bootleg pants or jeans (because I''m not fond of that cut) and I would need to in order to wear these boots. The shaft was thicker,wider and taller than I expected and looks really weird with my skinny jeans, pants and leggings. These are not true ankle boots; they fell right between my ankle and my calf(I''m 5 ft 7). I also noticed that the shaft was very stiff and the leather isn''t supple enough to withstand significant creasing over time from walking. Too bad; the color is divine.
