Features that make this sandal worth more than the others are the breathable "IntelliTemp" sole moisture regulation mesh and extra heel shock padding.As much as I loved my last pair of sandals (Bass), I hated the sole leather would get slimy and stinky from foot perspiration.Harvey don''t do that.
As far as the elastic on the buckle is concerned, I could do without it. My Bass sandals had the same thing and it was the first thing to wear out.I really don''t think elastic is necessary for a good fit.
Taking off half a star because there''s a seam under the toe...but I''m hoping that''ll smash down with wear and be less noticeable.Also, the toe area shape is very round and looks a little "clowny" (at least from the wearers perspective).I prefer the toe outline to be slightly squared off.
Designed in Denmark, but mine were made in China.
"Tenor" brown is darker than the online pics, but nothing close to black.

Very happy with my purchasePurchased these in black color -they look great.The materials are pretty high quality with good stitching and the shoes feel very sturdyThe buckle strap is actually pretty ingenious, as there is a small elastic band at the base, meaning that the strap will apply tension but have a little give as you walk so as not to squeeze your foot.This is my second pair of Borns; my previous pair have lasted four years of heavy use during the Springs and Summers and are still looking pretty good.
