I have had these boots for 18 years, and they are the most comfortable that I own.They have been re-heeled a few times, and are now in need of resoling, but with the years of wear and service given, I feel that they are an excellent value.I purchased these boots for dress, but have used them for work on many occasions (I am a stage hand and needed something of extreme comfort for 18 hour days).The goatskin uppers are proving to be extremely durable, as they look almost as good as they did when I purchased them.If you are looking for a comfortable pair of boots that look great with a pair of jeans but are classy enough to be worn with a suit, these are a must buy.I plan on buying these boots in other colors and as I can afford it, I''ll buy other Lucchese Classic Boots in other skins/hides.In case it is important to anybody, Lucchese Classic boots are HAND made in the U.S.A.Their 2000 and 1883 lines are machine made in the U.S.A.

This was my first pair of boots and I absolutely love them.Incredibly comfortable and they have held up extraordinarily well through heavy wear.When you consider the reasonable price, the value is amazing.

The only issue that I''m having is that I want to buy more, but Amazon is apparently no longer carrying size 13.5 in any Lucchese Classics model.
