Nine West Women''s Newsflash Knee-High Boot

Thank goodness Nine West came out with this "Newsflash" style!

I had purchased the Nine West "Needles" boot from Piperlime (it was an exclusive) and loved it but had to return them because the boot went over the knee -a bit too high for me. Was so bummed because I loved the texture of the soft leather (already looks a bit broken in, not shiny and new) and the low profile rubber "wedge" sole. Also, the buckle detail. I thought the boot was a nice blend of a motocross boot and a riding boot.

I just happened to spot these boots when they hit the market -new for fall. Exactly the same as the "Needles" but hits a couple of inches below the knee -yay!

The buckles are functional so you can tighten the boot around your calf if you need a snugger fit.

One thing: This boot runs VERY LARGE. I am usually an 8.5 and I had to buy a 7.5. Even then, I have a little wiggle room at the toes.

i''ve been in pursuit of the perfect brown leather boots for fall.i found them in these nine west boots!the leather is great quality and the buckles add the cutest riding boot detail.my favorite feature is the zippers up the back.they give the boots an edgy feel that can be dressed up with a cute dress or skirt or dressed down with skinny jeans.they do run HUGE though!i originally ordered a 10 because i was worried about them being too tight around my calves after tucking in my jeans.once they arrived though i discovered that they were enormous and at least a size too big.i returned them for the 9 and they''re perfect!

These are great boots.Very comfortable.I am only 5"1'' and they fit right under my knee.The only thing is the left one buckles a little in the back and digs in to the back of my ankle a little bit.Probably not a problem if you are taller.Wore them all day on Saturday, 6 months pregnant, and were really comfortable and I walked a lot.

These boots are very comfortable and just the style I''ve been looking for. The sole is thin, so I added an insert for a little more cushion. They''re perfect.

I didn''t buy these though Amazon, but felt I should add that they are the perfect fit around the calf. One thing that has bothered me about the recent trend in boots is that they seem to all fit very baggy, which to me looks sloppy. These are perfect for work and very comfortable I was worried the zipper might dig into the back of my heel but the flap of the pvc (fake leather) folds over enough so you don''t catch skin or your pants, or rub against the zipper.

While they aren''t real leather, they do look and feel like it, and the material is very warm and sturdy. I honestly didn''t even realize they weren''t leather until a few days after I purchased them, so don''t even worry about that. Haven''t scuffed or changed color despite all the salt on the ground right now in NY, and all-in-all I''m pretty thrilled.
