I agonized over these, almost choosing the black over the Espresso because the black was so much cheaper, but I''m glad I held out for the Espresso.I have a wide foot and at first the boot was uncomfortable but as it warms, it forms to your foot and becomes surprisingly comfortable to walk in.It looks great with jeans and has excellent traction with a thick, very flexible rubber grip sole.Most fashionable boots scare me to death as walking in snow or on ice is a hazard.No worry here. I really like these!However, I do wish I had bought them a size larger so that I could wear a pair of midweight socks easily.This would have made them absolutely perfect.

The salt and pepper material on the top of the boot just looked old and used.Sent them back without ever using them.It''s just a style preference and may be good for someone else.Went with a full leather boot, top to bottom as replacement..
