Nine West Women''s Hotlist Sandal

i was at the mall this weekend (not shopping for shoes at all), saw these shoes, and HAD to try them on (they are that eye catching).

i purchased the multi-colored pair and i found them true to size and remarkably comfortable (for a pair of heels).

i am usually not a fan of platforms, however the platforms on these are low enough to not bother me. in fact, i quite like the 70s vibe they add to the shoe.

i''m also a big fan of the heel. i like that it is a bit thicker/sturdier. this is another element that adds to the overall 70s vibe.

and these are sparkly! if there is any light around, these shoes will catch them! i did not see any of the glitter come off any of the times i have put them on.

my only ''complaint'' is with the loop around the strap. after you have buckled them, it is quite difficult to get the remainder of the strap through the loop. i am hoping the loop holds up over time.

all in all, highly recommended! these shoes truly are made for dancing!

i have an amendment here after wearing these for an extended period of time for the first time.

i am a true to size 8, and i bought a size 8. but the first time i really wore these out and about, my foot kept sliding forward and these caused terrible blisters on the tops of my toes. on my right foot, the blister was so bad, it had blistered UNDER the first blister.

it was so painful to walk after a while that i couldn''t wait to take them off. it is a week+ later, and my feet are still trying to heal.

the ironic part was that several people commented on how much they loved the shoes while i was out in them. yes, they are lovely, however i''m not sure i can put these on again without some selective amnesia.

be warned! or at least try out a friction reducing stick (i found mine at the store in the foot section near the pharmacy) on the tops of your toes where the open toe area of the shoe will connect with them (which i will absolutely try if i attempt to wear these again). hopefully that helps. however i do not believe these shoes are made for function.

but good gracious are they eye-catching!

Bought these sandals because I have been searching for an all-black sandal to get out of the wedge routine. Was so excited to wear them, but walking out the door, I felt some discomfort. When I got back home I was almost in tears. Blisters everywhere, I have a narrow foot and a size 6. Will try to buy some Dr. Scholl liners but I doubt it will fix the problem. The straps of the shoes are not long enough, so if you have thick legs be prepared to dig a new hole. They look so cute...but in my closet!!
