Nunn Bush Men''s Avenge Fisherman Sandal

Purchased these sandals from Peltz Shoes.Com via Amazon. They arrived on time and exceded my expectations as to quality, comfort and value. I have bought Nunn Bush shoes for years and have always been pleased at how well they are made. They wear well and have lasted a long time. This was my first pair of Nunn Bush sandals. They are really good looking and super comfortable. I have received many compliments on them, from both men and women. Very pleased with my on-line shopping experience both with Peltz Shoes, as with Amazon. Happy shopping!

I too liked these, I was lucky enough to find this model on sale and took a chance and worked out well. What first got my attention is the style format of this model, it is a rather nicely designed format and a very good looking shoe, but it doesn''t stop there. As the previous reviewer stated, they are indeed a comfortable profile fit, at least for my foot, I have a narrow heel and a slightly large ball front, but a slight bit narrow overall and these fit very well. As far as sizing, I wear a size 12 in running shoes, like Adidas, Nike, new Balance, etc., and those all fall in about the same sizing category and these appear to as well, they are pretty close, for those that may need reference. I ordered a size 12 and was worried they may run large in sizing but was surprised they didn''t and actually fit perfectly, for my foot anyways, Hehe The strap in the rear holds my narrow heel securely and the front part is matched well with the front section of my foot profile. I wouldn''t say these are for the wide foot, like Crocs for instance, that brand is way too wide for me, at least the models I have checked out, but if on the narrow to normal width foot say, these would make a good possibility for this style shoe format, and again, are a nice looking shoe, I got the cognac color and couldn''t be happier with the overall look of the model and the fit is a hard one to beat no matter how you color it.

OK, the downside, Heavy, whoowee, my size 12 rolls in on the ole digital shoe scale at a whopping 1 lb. 1 oz. and then some, it''s a heavy little dickens, but some might like this, it shows it''s got material integrity with its weight profile. The upside with that one, it doesn''t appear that heavy on the foot for some reason, maybe design format perhaps? But in any case, it doesn''t seem that heavy when wearing for everyday use. Another downside, although a small one, is I noticed right away, they seem a little slippery on the ole kitchen and bathroom linoleum covered floor. Not so much where one would slip and fall but more than I''ve noticed with other footwear I have and Oooo that''s allot, Hehe

Overall, this is a good model, this is my first with this brand Nunn Bush but considering the fit, I don''t think the last, comfort, style and good looks say allot in footwear and the Avenge Sandal is certainly endowed in this area, however, one ½ star knocked off for being a bit slick on the ole linoleum floor and would like to see a real leather material, although the material they use seems rather durable but time will tell on that and that of course lies in the future.Keeping in mind I''m not a sandal type a guy and maybe they''re all this way, as far as the bottom sole, but in any case, I like this very comfortable and stylish formatted sandal by Nunn Bush and felt it worthy to voice my opinion regarding the Avenge by Nunn Bush.

Love the shoe ...a little snugbut the leather will stretch . I like the option that you can have a strap at the back .... which is velcroed on both sides ...THIS IS A AWESOME BUY .... Very good quality and stylish .....
