Birki''s Women''s Haiti Sandal

I always want a birki''s sandal after everyone told me it is a comfy sandal.However, I don''t like the flip flop style and I don''t like the footbed''s material.Also, the design on a regular birki is plain, nothing special.When I found this Haiti sandal, the color is great and the pattern is so cute.The most important is it is not a flip flop style.When I test it out, I love it.This is going to be one of my favorite sandals this year.

This sandal is actually prettier in person. I does run small, I ordered a size up and the length fits perfectly, but I had to tighten the strips to the last hole or they''d be too loose. They are synthetic and I bought them for the pool ''water friendly''.This is my second pair.The other pair of haitis lasted many years and eventually the glue at the strap and footbed came apart. So great to have a birki footbed that can endure the water!

Even though the price is still too high I had to buy this because of my plantar fasciitis.It fits right and looks good.I wear them after showers and going into the pool.They hold up under a lot of wears and I expect to get a good amount of use out of them.I can understand people not paying this much for the shoe if you don''t have foot problems.
