The shoes arrived and true to the photos shown, however, they ran very large.They were too long and the straps were very loose on my feet. Wished I could have kept, they seem like they would be comfortable.
I have difficult to buy for feet (picture going into a warehouse store full of shoes and finding not one pair that works).These sandals not only work, they worked so well that I didn''t want to take them off at the end of the day!The foot bed is comfortable beyond description with cushioning and spring to it like (or maybe better than) that of an athletic shoe.The heel is on the high side, but these were so comfortable that my feet literally didn''t notice and had no desire to see slippers at the end of a long day.
As far as the fit.Well, I have odd feet as noted above.They used to be size 7/12 to 8, but I had bad foot problems that required pretty hardcore surgery on both feet.My feet are the same length but the toe box area is much wider now than it used to be.That means I normally buy a 9 to 10, in wide if possible now.I bought these in an 8 (regular since wide is not available).Somewhat oddly, I noted the straps that cross the top of the arch fit snugly (I had to wiggle to get my foot in), but once in, these were like a pair of comfortable shoes that had been worn to the point of fitting perfectly.For those of you who have normal feet, my guess would be that they run a bit longer and wider than other shoes.But simply order accordingly and you will have a pair of shoes that is amazingly comfortable from the moment you slip them on.I can''t say that enough but what I can say is that I ordered the other two colors immediately I was so very impressed (that and the fact that I don''t normally write reviews on shoes...)These will definitely put some spring in your step and look good doing it.
