Pleaser Women''s Delight-660FH Platform Sandal

Pleaser Women''s Delight-660Fh Platform Sandal,Black/Hot Pink/Patent Black,7 M USI waffled for a while over what size I should get in these. I have a very odd foot shape short, but fairly wide. In length, I can wear a 7, but in width, I''m more of a 9ish. What size I can wear in a given shoe can vary from a 7 up to a 10, depending on many factors. I had also read many other reviews stating that Pleaser shoes run small and that you should order 1-2sizes up. I decided to just go with a 9, which I usually get when I buy full pumps that cover the toe. Typically, a shoe with an open toe would encourage me to purchase an 8 or 8 1/2, as otherwise my toes would not peek out properly, but I decided to go with the 9 due to the reviews I''ve read and the heel height.

When I pulled the shoes out of the box, I was concerned, as they looked quite narrow, in fact too much so for my foot. I cautiously slipped my left foot into its corresponding shoe the length was perfect, and the band at the front fit my foot perfectly. In some heels, I have problems with my arches not quite touching the insole of the shoe due to lack of support. That is not an issue at all with these. The footbed is a bit narrow, and if you look closely, you''llnotice that my feet hang over each edge a bit, especially the left, since that ankle is currently sprained and both foot and ankle are swollen. However, given how absolutely sexy these shoes are, nobody will be paying attention to how well you fit in them. The pictures do not do them justice in the least, they are gorgeous and, of course, make your legs and butt look absolutely fantastic. I had decided to purchase this type of shoe to practice walking in them, and wanted to get a lower heel, but most of the lower heels either cost more or had little to no platform.

I wore these around the house for about three hours sitting, walking, standing in the kitchen cooking, crawling around on the floor cutting out pattern pieces. I have a friend who has shoes of a similar height, but with a wider heel and only a strap around the ankle, which I have tried on before (gotta love having friends with the same shoe size!), and hers feel much less stable and more dangerous than mine. I think this may be due to the part of the shoe covering the back of the heel of the foot this seems to help stabilize better than a teensy ankle strap, and I feel much safer walking in these. I struggle to walk in hers, but these are like most regular heels to me just put them on and walk. I don''t really think about the way that I walk in heels, I just do it, and I manage to do so just fine. They did hurt after standing for about half an hour though, so I still need to practice more in these.

Bottom line: These run almost true to size, just a tiny bit small. I would recommend that you purchase these in the size you would normally purchase pumps of this heel height. If you''re a half size, round up. I wouldn''t suggest buying a bigger size, as then the shoe would be long, and then your toes won''t peek out! They are beautiful, and I have noticed no design or material flaws, and I hope you love them as much as I do!
