Rider Men''s Relay IV Sandal

This is my third pair... actually I bought three pairs in three colors, sand, brown and black...why?

This is hands down the best sandal around. Being it a beach sandal, it is not afraid of frequent washes and water. Sole has vent holes which are screened. Same goes for the sides. Sole is also extremely well cushioned.

First two pairs lasted me two years each and they are still ok, just cosmetically not up to task of going out to normal places. I still wear them when going to beach or park as I don''t want soil new ones.

I tried other sandals in the mean time however I could never find one that would fit without being loose, flopping and generally be pain to wear and try not to lose it. This is as close as you case get to "wear and forget" in slide sandals.

I have a background as a master''s degree teacher, and I spent months reading about shoes to try to learn what sandal has the most cushion and is the most comfortable.First, I looked around town, and tried on a lot of sandals.Then, I ordered many, many sandals from various shoe companies, and here and there purchased a pair of sandals.Sometimes I read good reviews, yet did not find the sandals to be as cushiony as I hoped.The Ooahh Slide is made of a new substance and has the most amazing cushion; it is for men and women.The Ryka Sport Sandal is excellent; Princess Diana recommended Ryka for women.The Rockport Seabolt is nice because the width is adjustable; it is for men, but women can wear smaller sizes.Alegria, good cushion.Aravon, good cushion.Flojos good cushion.Sanuk good cushion.Teva good cushion.The Darco Med/Surg, which should be worn with their Peg-Assist Insoles, is life saving if one has painful pressure areas.A big favorite is the Rider Relay IV.There is one made for men as well as for women.Some sandals which have cushion are too mushy, and not dense enough; at first the foot feels cushion, but then it quickly falls against a hard surface.The Rider is dense enough, and has a superior cushion.Also, it is quite attractive and well-made.I am pleased to take time to tell others about a remarkable sandal.

Ordered these for my husband.We all wore Riders for a long time, then we couldn''t find them many places. These look and feel great, but BIG warning:they run small.My husband wears an 11 shoe, a 12 flip flop, and the 12''s were way small.Had to get him a 13.
