This sneaker is so pretty.But if you''re like me, and think all twinkle toes are alike, they''re not.First of all, it doesn''t say so in the description, but these DO light up.In the front and on the outer side, just like the other ones.Second, these say ''laceless design''.Didn''t catch that when I ordered it, and wouldn''t have known what that meant anyway.It comes with a short lace, that only covers the top three set of holes.The bottom two sets closest to the toe are actually just there.The tongue is sewn to the fabric, so the holes have fabric sewn behind them,and the rest of the tongue has a thick stretchy band holding it down to the sole.So the idea is, you just slip it on, and the short shoelace is just for looks.The problem this posed was, my daughter couldn''t get it on (band too tight), even though a normal twinkle toes that isn''t slip on in the same size fit.So I cut the stretchy band off, and carefully cut the thread off that holds the beginning of the tongue down for the first two sets, thus making it a ''normal'' laceable sneaker, and also allowing the tongue to pull out fully now. I bought a plain set of laces (since the ones that come with it only cover three sets of holes, not five), and used them.Perfect now.

The shoes are a good fit, true to size and great design for an 8 year-old girl. My daughter was very pleased and wears them often.
