I have this shoe and love it, it is comfortable and true to size on me. Don''t know what this other person is talking about saying these shoes dont last long, this shoe is replacing another similar shoe that I have from Skechers, that I have worn almost everyday for the last 6 years, I think I got my moneys worth out of them. Very good quality. I would highly recommend this shoe.

I have big feet and work with kids. I''ve got bad knees so I have to have a lot of support in my shoes. So I hate shopping for shoes. I bought these because they had them in my size in a local store and because they were super comfortable. They lasted about a year and a half before the very back of the shoe began to fray pretty bad and I''d worn holes in the soles. So I ordered another pair just like them. The only downside is that, for some reason, these shoes appear to be discontinued. I''ve been hunting for months now and can''t find another pair. But if sketchers starts making these again, maybe pick up two or three pairs.

I bought a pair of Skechers very similar to these in 2005 and have been tromping around in those every since.I wore them through walking-intensive trips to Dublin and Switzerland as well as over many miles in the lab for four years of my PhD.They afford great support and shock absorbance without looking too orthopedic or like sneakers.So, when those shoes from 2005 started wearing out, I had to search for something equivalent.I think Doc Martens would have been a good alternative, but these shoes were definitely cheaper than the Docs I was interested in.This Skechers model is identical to the pair I bought in 2005,except that the shiny leather finish has been replaced with more of a suede finish and there are some changes to the stitching details.And the addition of the zipper, which I find kind of amusing.They fit exactly the same as my previous pair and are performing just as well in terms of support and shock absorbance.I waterproofed them when I received and they have held up well in the month or so that I''ve worn them, which has included some exposure to snow.

Bought for my daughter after the doctor told us she needed harder soled shoes. She wasn''t enthused. She likes thin soled skater style shoes and felt that these were the opposite of her chosen style. We got this specific pair because the zipper pocket at least gave her a feature she liked.Once she got themhowever and started wearing them she LOVES them. They are super comfortable, look cute on her, and are helping with the problem the Dr. prescribed them for. She has said that she would like more of this style shoe in the future.
