My 11 y.o. son is a tough fit, mainly b/c he has sensory issues with his feet -they get too warm and he doesn''t like a sole that is too thick b/c he "loses touch with the ground". These have a thin / medium, yet supportive sole and they breathe. They also look nice -sporty and even look good with jeans or khaki''s. He didn''t need to break them in -they worked from the get go.
