Lovely shoe and because it goes up the ankle it would hlep give extra ankle support.I have broken my ankle a few times now & look for shoes which will minimise me twisting of my ankle again.Would have liked some elastic give around the ankle area, as it is quite snug.Fits well but as I have a wide foot, so went up half a size, I usually fit skecher''s size 6 perfectly.
