OluKai Women''s ''Ohana Sandal

I recently moved from San Jose to the Birdrock neighborhood of La Jolla. From fast paced high heels to casual flip flops. Trouble is, I have been a Californian for years but never lived close enough to the beach to actually need flip flops.

Well today I went to a surf shop and picked up a pair of these...at almost twice the price here on Amazon. While I regret not finding these online first I absolutely do not regret owning a pair. I walked a ton on sidewalks and along Windansea today and I have no blisters and my legs aren''t tired and my feet don''t hurt.

The secrets to a good flip flop seem to be a combination of a supportive footbed, a between the toe thingie that doesn''t rub that skin raw, and straps that are close enough to keep the sandal on your feet while not being tight enough to cause a blister.

The footbed is flexible but firm enough to keep rocks and bottle caps from bothering your footsies. It is molded like the shape of my foot so all of my foot is supported, rather than squished flat like those floppy shower shoes tend to be.

The materials won''t soak up water and they don''t stretch out. The straps and footbed have a lifetime warranty (for the lifetime of the soles). Overall I think it would be difficult to find a more comfortable sandal.

This is my second pair of Olukai flip flops.They are super comfortable and look great.I wear them daily--easy to walk in and wonderful on the waterfront.While more expensive than most, they are worth every penny.I will buy more.

After trying lots of different kinds of flip flops...OluKai is the best for arch support!AND they look good!! I seriously can go to the beach all day and walk around, wash them off, then wear them till late at night...and my feet don''t hurt one bit!This is my third pair of OluKais.The other ones haven''t worn out in two years, I just wanted to switch up the colors some. (I''m a woman, what can I say!?)

I am a 53 year old woman with arthritis and degenerative disk disease in my feet.I was just at the point of giving up fiip flops when I happened upon this brand of sandals.The arch support and the fact that they are so light weight has been a blessing to me.I am not a person that usually writes reviews, but I will buy many more of this brand.

I just recieved my flip flops today.I have been searching for a great supportive pair of flip flops and settled on this brand because I found a store at an airport and tried them on On Tired feet, these felt wonderful.Today however, they are absolutely killing my feet.The arch support is so high and so stiff, I am surprised by it.I LOVE Amazon and bought these here because the price was so much better!I''ve worn them for two hours around the house and my arches are throbbing.I am hoping these soften and wear in a bit....they seem great and seem like they are made so well, and for the price I hate to think I lost this money.But beware of that HIGH arch.....so far, not a winner.I will update if I find these get better.
