I''m an outdoor enthusiast living in the Great Smoky Mtns. and the UGG Brooks Tall is the best boot I''ve ever worn. I well abuse my footwear doing everything from walking in the barnyard to hiking steep, rocky trails and these boots keep me steady on my feet while protecting my lower legs from briars and snakes. The outsoles just keep going! After 10 years of hard use there''s not one crack in them and no separation from the uppers! Follow the UGG instructions to ditch your socks because barefooted is the only way you will truly appreciate shearling and just how cool it is in summer and warm it is in winter. I have to give credit to the sheep for inventing the best material on the planet for comfort in all kinds of weather and conditions. These boots are highly water resistant and have kept my feet nice and dry thru a lot of mud and muck and many creek crossings although I highly recommend giving them a loving rub down with a good leather care product like Sof Sole Mink Oil, 3.5-Ounce periodically.As far as style, while these are not dress boots, they are slightly on the chunky side but only slightly and not nearly as chunky or casual looking as the UGG Australia Women''s Classic Tall Boots or the UGG Australia Classic Short Boots, they look great with everything from camo and jeans to shorts and skirts.They have a more streamline appearance in person, the tread and heel don''t look quite as aggressive as in the pictures and with wear the white stitching around the outsoles quickly fades and like all shearling they just get better with age.Sizing is forgiving, half sizes size up. Replacing the insoles, Replacement UGG Insole Women''s, a couple times a year makes them feel new again. These are not cheap boots but they last forever and at the end of a long day of wade fishing the feeling of slipping my wet, cold, tired feet into my UGG Brooks Tall shearling boots is priceless!

When I started my research on boots I knew I wanted a pr. of Uggs but I had certain criteria that I was looking for in a boot and this particular boot had everything in it. I purchased them back in December, and I don''t regret spending $180.00 on these boots. These boots are so soft inside and warm and comfortable I can hardly believe it. I do not wear socks with them and my feet are never cold and they don''t sweat in the boot either. Highly recommend them.

I bought these UGG''s last winter because I love the look and color of them. I have other UGG''s and I know how warm and comfortable they are. These boots are the best I love them. I sprayed them with waterproof repellant and then started wearing them. I wore them all winter and since I''m outside at school they are excellent on cold days.

Update: I contacted UGG and they replaced them with ones that are correct.

I love UGG boots and have had several pairs throughout the years. I was excited when I found the Brooks tall, because they combine the warmth I need in the MN winters but with much more fashionable style. However, while I completely understand that they are made from natural material and will have some inconsistencies, it looks to me as though the boots came from 2 different lots. I even returned the first pair and ordered a second. On both, the lining is noticeably different colors, as are the exteriors. Additionally, the right boot has a larger leg shaft opening by about an inch. This may be a temporary production problem, but is worth noting.
