The two adjustable straps allow a custom fit that other brands don''t have. They are very casual and will be perfect for the creek, yet the fit is very fashionable. Best of all, they are so comfortable! As soon as they came out of the box, I wore them all day. There was no need to break them in and I actually forgot they were on my feet.
However, I must mention the faults because all shoes have them. The left shoe''s straps were a slightly different size than the right. The toe strap was shorter and the other was longer but it''s not noticeable unless you''re looking for it.
Overall, the best sandal I''ve found and definitely worth the money spent.
I am a picky sandal person.I am a woman, so I like something that doesn''t make my feet look large. But I like to be prepared for whatever might come my way during any given day.Mud puddles, running after the kids, long walks through the zoo.My footwear needs to be able to keep up.
These sandals are pretty cool.I have full confidence that they will hold up to stomping around in the local stream. The footbed is pretty minimal.I''m cool with that, but if you are looking for arch support it isn''t here.Still, nicely padded.
The most important thing that I can say about these sandals is that they are on the slim size. The foot bed is very slim.Unless a wide option is available, I would recommend those with wider feet look elsewhere.
But, even though these sandals run slim, the webbing construction does not.I have narrow feet and have just cut off about an inch (and then resewn)from the strap that goes diagonally across and then across near the ankle. Before I made this adjustment I had the sandal tightened up as far as it would go, and it was still flopping around on my foot.If you have narrow feet and are not handy, these may not be the sandals for you.
As for durability, I think time will tell. These sandals have two adjustable points that criss-cross across the foot which I think is nice. When I first put them I could feel the area where stitches were, but that has gone away with just a few wears.
Nicer than most Tevas. Not as nice as Chacos.I am giving these 5 stars because these are not the first sandals that I have had to make adjustments to, which leads me to think that my foot (and my level of pickiness) is most likely the problem..not the sandal.

I bought these to replace a pair of Teva''s that were worn out.I loved my Teva''s, but, I found these at such a great price, I took a risk.At first, when I received them, they seemed too big.I was disappointed at first because these really don''t have all the velcro adjustments that my Teva''s did.I particularly hoped for velcro along the back heal, but it didn''t have that.I wore these shoes around my house the whole day, and actually, I got used to the feel.I''ve worn them for a couple of weeks and I have to say these are sooo comfortable and I actually like these better than the Teva''s I had before.I also like the color as well, the light blue highlight stripe. Not only would I buy these again, but I''m thinking about buying a closed toe sandal from this brand as well.
