online it looks like its shower proof but didn''t actually find out until I recieved it with the cotton cushion part in the middle that goes above your foot. Yeah I guess I could of read more into it but the whole HYDRO made me think it was water proof for showering so I guess this would be good for stylin around the crib because they actually look pretty cool.
