80%20 Women''s Feather Wedge Sandal

I took a chance and bought these because I couldn''t resist, they were just so darn cute and unique! They look like an ankle boot from the back and then you get the sandal look to show off your pedicure from the front. They are super flattering on and make your legs look really long and slim, I think it is because of the boot cuff. I am an athlete and I almost never wear heels because they are so bad for your body alignment and your feet. Most platform shoes these days are well over 4-5 inches high, and I am not willing to risk a twisted ankle or knee just to wear shoes! So I was very pleasantly surprised that these are really not that high at all because of the platform wedge, it feels like you''re wearing about a 2 1/2 inch heel. I could even walk at my normal speed (super fast) with little difficulty. They run very true to size. The strap that goes over your instep that is attached to the the "boot" shaft (not the strap across the toes) was slightly loose on me, not unusual in my case because I don''t have chunky feet. I put in a cushioned half insole which made them fit properly and even more comfortable. They look so hot with shorts, a dress, or with skinny jeans tucked in... I just bought three other colors because it''s so hard for me to find heels that I can actually wear!

I took a chance and purchased this sandal.. All I can say is "UGH".. I bougt the "Desert Sand" in leather.. I thought the sandal looked soooo cute in the picture.. But on my feet, forget about it! The sandal is very clunky.. I realized it''s a wedge heel but the problem I see with the make and style of the shoe is the back of the wedge heel is completely covered which just makes it look so much more clunky. If perhaps the wedge was fully exposed and your heel was out it would look cuter. I thought maybe on my feet this would not look so bad.. Also.. it''s very tight going across the top part of my foot. Not the band that goes across my toes. The upper part of the sandal. That is a thin leather band and it is tight. Gives no leeway to stretch across the top part of your foot. So if you have even a little bit of a fat or wider foot, it will HURT! And also the ankle area, soooo big and loose around that area. Not snug at all around my ankles.. Just don''t like this sandal at all. I can''t even imagine what I could even wear these sandals with to make them look good. LOL! I love trendy shoes too. And this sandal looks adorable in the pics. But on my feet, NO WAY! LOL. Returning them back to Amazon tomorrow!

The good part is that they look cute. But the leather part seems fake/faux leather; and the whole shoes are smelly. I finally returned them since they run bigger for me and they have very strong plastic smell..
