Clarks Women''s Artisan by Latin Vine Wedge Sandal

The sole of this sandal is great, very comfortable.But the uppers...I bought a size up, size 11, because the reviews said it ran short.Well, my foot looks the right length, maybe slightly small for the sandal, but pretty good.But the uppers...I tried securing the strap as if I''d made an extra hole (which it would certainly need if I kept them), but even so, when I walk, my foot simply shoots forward so that my toes are over the edge, while my heel is much too far forward in the back.It''s odd, because the straps don''t seem esp. wide on me at the front..but somehow my foot is the wrong shape.the front part holds my foot best only when my toes are over the edge!

So I''m wishing there were more half sizes.There is no 10.5, so I''m now going to try the 10 and see what happens...I imagine it''ll just be too short, but I suppose it''s just possible that the problem is just that my foot is too small over all.I''ve never had an experience quite like this!hooray for ''free returns''..

OK, so the 10s have arrived, and I can see they are in fact the right size.But unfortunately the straps at the front are cutting into my feet at little near the arch (no, there''s no arch support, by the way) and I foresee trouble, esp if my feet swell further in the heat...

I would recommend this sole style by Clarks to every woman that has to keep on going even when her feet are done!This is my second pair of Clarks with this type of sole and it won''t be m y last.The soles absorb your weight and maintains a stable dependable footing.The suede padding is soft and comforting as is the leather straps that fit snugly, not tightly, around your foot.I was a little concerned that the shoe might be a little to "grandma" looking, but that is not the case at all.Very happy with the shoe and the great price!

I have another pair of Clark sandals and really like how comfortable they are and stylish as well. So I wanted another pair that are lighter in color. These are great! I like the color and the comfort. They will be nice to wear in Europe this summer.
