Natural woven leather so I think would stretch some and form to fit.Unfortunately the arch of my foot just didn''t hit the curve and slant of this shoe right (would have to slide my foot back in shoe for arch to feel right, but then toe and heel not in right placenot a common issue for me) so I sent them back. Cute simple shoe that would be nice with skirt or pants.The color is pinkish/warm natural leather but I think if one wanted them to have the look of natural tan leather could use a sealer or oil to deepen.
I have never owned a pair of Eric Michael shoes, but I do have a typical foot with a high arch, and a European size 40 ALWAYS fits me, so I ordered the 40 (in the natural color). They fit perfectly and I''m tempted to buy them in every color. The heel is slightly lower than other wedges that I own (like Michael Kors). The construction seems very high quality. I have owned them for about 1 month and have worn them regularly and they still look brand new. I highly recommend them.
