I was looking for a winter dressy heel this was perfect!The design and being suede made it a more substantial shoe without being too "chunky" for a more delicate looking dress.The heel felt higher than it looked, but that''s ok, I think it was about a 1/2" taller than I typically go for.Probably not a dancing shoe unless you are used to that height could use extra padding under the ball of foot then.Otherwise comfortable and a quality heel my first Joan and David shoe impressed.
