Mephisto Women''s Elka Slide Sandal

Purchased this shoe (blk neubuck) several years ago, it was so comfortable that I wanted another pair.It had an upbeat look, not like many of the other comfort shoes that look clunky.The Elka has a modern look and can keep up with today''s strappy sandals.Never had a break in time period and the heel is within the recommeded height (2 inch) by doctors.Good solid foundation and forget am even wearing shoes. Purchased the tan, they are adjustable so the fit is good.The price was the best of all the sites that carried this style.

I have worn these shoes now for about 10 years and cannot tell you how comfortable they are!!!My feet never hurt when I have these on. They give me the lift I like with the wedge heel without making my back hurt.Thank you Mephisto!!!

Mephisto needs to make these with a back-strap again also. I had a pair years ago, and they are much more secure on the feet while going up and down stairs or walking at a quick pace than without the back-strap. I''ve also noticed that their footbeds have gotten much narrower over the years, and so now would like to see them offer wide widths.

Mephisto Elka is the best.it is so comfortable fresh from the box and it looks splendid.I tried birkenstock many times and just could not get used to the ''breaking'' concept. With Mephisto, there is no such a thing.All my shoes are mephisto or Naot.I got rid of all other brands and only purchase these two brands now.My feet are very important to me they deserve to be comfortable.

Love these!!!I have a metallic platinum/bronze pair and for some reason couldn''t find them in black (except for patent leather).I was beyond thrilled to find these and the price is right in line with other Mephisto retailers.Yes they''re pricey, but they are truly, truly worth every penny!
