Luckily I read other reviews and knew that these run small before I ordered them. My son wears a 6.5 toddler and I decided to give the 8/9 a chance and I am so happy I did. My husband and I are really hooked on sanuks and I knew my son would think it was cool to be like dad. They are his favorite flip flops and I already got them in the next size up for next year (on sale). I would say the 8/9 size fits more like a 6.5/7.5 so order at least one size up and your kid will love them!

These are the best sandals I have ever bought. I constantly wear flip flops which usually offer no support and make my feet hurt but these are absolutely amazing! They are so soft and comfortable, and really squish and comform to your feet! I LOVE that they come in so many colors. I have black but I fully intend on purchasing a few more colors! I ever bought them in a toddler size for my one year old!

These are a great purchase! Although I didn''t know that the smaller toddler sizes came with a sling back. Nevertheless, my three yr old can easily put them on and loves to wear them.
