Sorel Cub 1799 Winter Boot (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

Sorel Cub 1799 - Winter Boot,Isla/Crushed Berry,9 M US ToddlerI researched toddler boots, read all the reviews on Amazon, and chose these Sorel boots, trusting Sorel''s good name. Our daughter wore them outside for the first time in about 3 inches of snow today (about 25 F degrees outside in northern Massachusetts). She was outside for 15 minutes and when I took her boots offwhen she came in, her feet were quite cold. What is the problem with these boots? One guess: the felt liner inside is not thick enough to stop the cold that is being conducted by the thick rubber outside of the boots, which actually seems to bring the cold INSIDE the boot. The rubber on the outside (very visible in the photos)is important for the waterproofing and good grip, but it seems to make the inside of the boot very cold-just a guess. There should be an additional barrier between the felt liners and the outside of the boots.I am very disappointed by this purchase-either I have been senta defective boot (in that it does not even come close to the -25 F rating on the tag attached to the boot) or there is a problem with this particular boot overall that is not being noticed by others.

I have really nothing but good to say about these shoes. My kid is very very comfortable in them and walks on ice like it isn''t there. The only problem I have encountered is that when the boots were brand new it was a bit of a battle getting my son into the shoes. But after 10 days it is not a problem any more. Either my son got used to the boots or the boots got a bit easier to put on, not sure which but suspect both.

The boots look very warm and well made but unfortunately we can''t get them on my grandsons feet! We ordered a larger size than he usually takes but they''re too tight in the ankle area and don''t stretch enough to push his feet into them.

Bought two pairs of these for our twin girls. The reseller was great, no complaints there, but the product regrettably was poorly designed and unusable. We ordered a size too big for the girls deliberately, but found the boot impossible to get onto their feet, plenty of room in the foot, but impossible to get over the ankle! The elastic cord is FIXED and does not stretch or detach to allow you to slide the childs foot in.

Saved $40 a pair and got another pair that fit perfectly.Shame.nice looking boot.

These are really easy for my daughter to take on/off on her own. She never complains of cold feet and we live in Northern Vermont. I''ve washed them a couple of times and they look great.
