I took advantage of Amazon''s next-day delivery, slipped them on, and was amazed how comfortable they were right off the bat. And of course they look fantastic. The shoes are nice looking for what they are. Not a real comfort shoe and seem a bit simple inside (like no padding), but I wanted them for a retro event and they look the part. I''m more of a size E and they are tight in the forward area or toe box so I''ll be bringing them in to se if a repair shop can stretch a small amount. I think it''s their only width and that''s unfortunate. We''ll see how it works out.

I''ve always wanted a pair of these but didn''t know what they were called until recently.I saw these shoes in a department store several years ago, but they don''t carry them anymore.Luckily, they''re available online.

While these shoes are quite comfortable, they don''t seem quite as well made as I was expecting.The shoelaces they came with are too short and I had to buy longer ones.The patent leather finish is a little too dressy for casual wear, so I''ll save these for wearing with my suit or a tuxedo.
