I purchased this model in particular because I developed an ugly bunion for the past year, and this model does correct the biomechanics of the hallux valgus deformity. I should rather say that it slows down the progression of the bunion, in conjunction with other foot orthotics. Amazon had the best price for this sandal. I definitely recommend this sandal especially for those who developed bunions, but in general, it''s a very comfortable slipper.

I Love birks, when Birki''s very first came out I was not impressed and swore i would never try them again, well that was 10 to 15 years ago and i thought i was getting leather and that was not what i got, but i love them, they were instantly comfortable, I love they way they fit my feet, and i much perfer a toe hold than just between my toes, I will be buy more in different colors

This product does not stand up to the quality that I expect from Birkenstock so I can not give you a favorable review.I have worn them inside to break them in and they do not conform to the foot like Birkenstock and the top straps are flimsy.....just not a quality product.Sorry.
