I had to quit wearing Crocs around the house and in the yard due to a fairly severe case of plantar fasciitis (the muscle on the underside of your foot weakens and you have to wear shoes with arch support.)The Crocs are just too wide and without support, unfortunately.So I had to find an alternative, as I do a lot of gardening and outside work and need a PVC shoe I can clean with the hose.

Love these Malibus!I bought the red color and they are really cute.Pretty good arch support also.The only reason I''m not giving them five stars is that the bottom is made of fairly soft material, and you can feel rocks and stuff through them.They really should add a little stiffener to the insides of these.But it''s not a deal killer and I plan on living in these shoes all summer.

They seem to run fairly true to size, also.I''ll be buying another pair.

My son 11 loves the birkis haiti and as an alternative we thought we''d give these a try. They are comparable perhaps,to something you might get at a dollar store. One sandal was entirely bigger than the other (and they are a one piece molded design) and the straps under the band rub, and on one side the second strap digs and rubs him terribly. He hates them, and doesn''t even want to slip them on to let the dogs out or get the mail! He chooses to wear his old ones that are too small. Really people, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE. We love our birks but this one shouldn''t even be affiliated with the line. Fortunately the party we bought from refunded our money and told us to just keep em. They have no structure and are, too lightweight. Just thought we''d let ya know...

These Birki''s Malibu sandals are so soft that they are flimsy and make stumbling over twisted sandal material easy.They offer no support and in my opinion are hazardous.

I do not like them and would not recommend them.

I bought two pairs of Malibu Birkies, Navy and Black.They are perfect!The fit is good and I feel like I am walking on pillows.I like the way they are made in all one piece and the sole and the upper is the same color.I have several other models of Birki sandles and these may be my favorites.My only concern is that my feet may sweat in them.

I just love these birkis sandals, super comfortable. I have worn them everyday for about 6 months and now its almost time to start looking for another pair as they are starting to get soft and flimsy. Would definately buy another pair.
