I am writing this, just so others will be aware. First time buying shoes on internet. Was hesitant before because what if it did not fit quite right? But it was Amazon, and I always had good experience doing returns with Amazon. So bought these as a gift. Unfortunately they did not fit right. Now I need to pay to ship them back, plus you are charged a 10% restocking fee. So, for me, it is really not worth taking a chance if you don''t know for a fact that you will like the shoes and that they will fit properly.
This is a very nice sandal...It is designed with a moulded imprint which makes for very comfortable fit...This is the first time that I have purchased a Cobian product, and will definitely buy from them again!

Just received these a few weeks ago.First impression:too small. My bad, should''ve gotten 10 instead of 9.I decided to tough it out, since they weren''t really too small...they just felt tight.After wearing them over the past weeks, they''ve worn out and fit me better.
Now, the only gripe I have is there seems to be a lil squeak that I feel and sometimes hear when walking w/ these.I have had great, past experiences with Cobian, so I was hoping for the same.I expect more time to break these in and maybe the squeak will go away.
Aside from the squeak, they look and feel great!I look forward to getting through the break-in period, and I''ll update my review at that time (if I remember to do so).

Being over 50 and living in California I have worn a lot of flip flops. These Cobian Austin are the best. These are my reasons:They are smooth leather, makes them comfortable in hot weather (my feet get very sweaty in rubber or padded footbeds) I find suede is adversely affected by water and the thong does not move as well when I walk.
