Earthies Womens Veria Peeptoe Wedges

Earthies Women''s Veria Bright Red Kid Suede Ankle Straps Sandals)This shoe is not only beautiful it is so comfortable. It fits well I wear a 9.5 and it fits perfect. It is also a very sexy shoe makes my skinny legs look very nice. Also as a tall woman 6'' the heel on this shoe is 3" that is a nice height shoe. There are other similar shoes out there that have5" heel which are probably not as confortable and I am more apt to fall. Thanks Earthies. I love these shoes!

The fit is true to size and perfect. The colour is greyer and darker than the picture, but great with jeans and anything navy or white. Thay are heavy to wear at first and it takes time to get used to walking in them.

My only complaint is I wish they''d put the microfiber on top instead of the side so they wouldn''t get moisture in them...I live in Oregon where it''s rain country nine months out of the year.:)

Overall, light, comfortable, and durable!

They are not engineered correctly. They have done serious damage to my feet. The pair I have is the proper size but the off-shore manufacturer has skimped on material in the metatarsal/toe area, and the material, leather, does not give. They have caused my foot to respond by swelling in the metatarsal area and either producing or aggravating a bunion situation. This is very painful and may have caused long-term damage to my feet. Do not buy. Lawsuit needed. See my further analysis below.

The shoe has a "moccasin" toe which is to say that there is a vertical side strip of material attached to the sole upper and in turn stitched to a flat piece on top. You can see this in the illustration. This gives the toebox more height as opposed to flatter shoe construction that tends to compress toes. BUT I have found that the construction of the toe part of this shoe is cut or angled too sharply where the outer toes lie, causing these to rub while walking. In other words, the toes can''t splay out because their room has been cut off. My other walking/running shoes do not have this problem. At the end of the day, my outer toes are sore, especially the last one. But that is nothing compared to the damage produced by the deceptively narrow metatarsal area.

Another potentially important point is that the laced opening does not extend far enough toward the toe to be fully adjustable. This problem is not uncommon with shoes in general and certainly is present here: the widest part of the foot, technically called the metatarsophalangeal joint, where the metatarsal bones join the phalanges, is a point requiring adjustment via fasteners and that cannot be done on this shoe. ''Nother half inch of opening wudda done it.

They also lack a finger loop at the back which would be most helpful when putting on the shoe.
