Georgia Boot Men''s Georgia Giant G6274 Work Boot

The first thing I have to say is, I actually got a second pair of Georgia''s 2 weeks after getting these. The other pair is the Farm Wedge G6152. They are both very different from each but they are both very comfortable & it is very nice to wear the pair more compatible to my scheduled days activities. The G6274 are more rugged, have a more slip proof sole. They have been a little slower to break in but are very comfortable. The Wedges are so soft & are more like a high top walking shoe. Their sole can be a little less slip proof however. Between the 2, I am getting rid of a sore foot problem I developed from a pair of 1yr. old John Deere Boots. The shank apparently cracked & the lack of arch support lead to a very sore foot. I like both so much, that I wear them on the weekends while cooking & grilling. The great arch support just make my feet happy. I was bragging to my Dad on the phone about my new boots & it turns out he just got a pair of Georgia Boots himself, after trying out about a dozen different boots. He said he wore his a whole day at the MN State Fair & just loved them. Way to GO Georgia Boot!!! Brian B.

This is the 2nd pair of the same boots for my husband. He is very hard on workboots and these have lasted longer than most others.

I was wearing skechers work composite toe but couldn''t find them anymore and i was having foot problems, on feet all day doing construction then I remembered I used to wear these.... So check amazon, some other sites local storesended up getting them here.These are so comfortable it''s unreal.The workmanship is high QUALITY..... These boots if they are like the ones I wore 10 years ago will last and wear well.they are not water proof as some have complained about but I don''t walk in rivers and they just dont soak up water either they are work boots. I work with concrete, carpentry to electric on my feet all day these are GREAT and the soles will wear well.... pretty much the same boot as before with minor improvements from what i''ve noticed.....Wear these pretty much everyday.... I have broken arches from childhood accident and finding shoes that actually feel good and be able to work in them all day are RARE, and more RARE to last......Fast Shipping..... Packaged Well.... I''ve had these boots for about a year.I like them a lot, and they are still going strong.However the stitching along the welt began to let go several months ago.Now the welt is drooping along the whole front on both boots. The boots are still serviceable, but collect dirt and manure which gets into the house and truck. I am going to try the 6" wedge boot on my next pair.

If you are looking for a boot that will allow your feet to get wet with just a small amount of water, buy these. The plastice ridge just above the welt will act as a rain gutter and will direct even the smallest amount of water, the morning dew, directly to your feet. Thts right even walking through the lawn in the morning on your way to the car will leave your feet wet for the rest of the day.

If that isn''t bad enough after a few months the soles will separate from the boots, and you will be left searching for glue to try and get a few more steps out of these over priced, inferior, boots. Yes they were comfortable, as long as thier was no miosture around.

Truly a poor design. Do not buy these boots
