*The shoes were not made the same. The strap seam on the inside of the left foot was not in the same place as it was on the right foot.I wouldn''t normally care, but I could feel the one of the left (it was right in the middle of my arch).I only got them a few days before I left, so no time to exchange (I ordered them too late, not seller''s fault that there was no time)
*The shoes got pretty slippery in wet conditions. It was OK on the sidewalk, but if you stepped onto a smooth floor (while the shoe bottoms were wet), they were VERY slippery.More so than cheap flip flops in the same situation.
*They clean up nicely, even after walking through sandy beaches while they were wet. They did take longer to dry than I had hoped for, found myself putting on damp shoes most mornings for the trip.
Overall, I don''t regret the purchase.I wish I''d had time to exchange them for ones that were made the same. They were quite comfy, no blisters while wearing them. I spent a lot of time with them wet with no change in comfort level.I''m in my 60''s and have generalized arthritis, especially in my feet. So I need shoes that are very comfortable and cradling on my feet. These shoes fill the bill. They are airy, comfortable, light and they embrace my feet in such a comfortable way. However, if you''re going to be doing a lot of walking, these are not the shoes. They are not supportive like walking shoes, but are perfect for running around and doing errands. As driving shoes, they rock! They''re expensive (but on sale here right now). Even so for me they''re worth it. I''m ashamed to say how many pairs I have ordered over the past year. Not because they have worn out, but because I want more colors, and sales are frequent.

I love this shoe! I have been looking for a light, flexible shoe that does not ride up and down on my heel. The fact that it handles water without getting damaged is a plus when walking city streets. I also appreciate that the sole has a good grip on all surfaces so reduces the risk of falls due to slipping. As a limited walker due to a neurological deficit, this is a shoe that maximizes my ability to walk. I have already bought a second pair and have gotten lots of positive comments from others who find it cute and practical. If you have other Jambu or J-41 shoes, even sandals, you know they tend to be HEAVY.These are the lightest, most versatile Jambus I''ve owned to date.I needed something to take on vacation that would be comfortable and cute AND good for the beach, walking around the markets and even exploring Mayan ruins these promise to fit the bill perfectly. The cushioned footbed insert is incredibly comfortable and the pliable rubber sole sort of cradles your foot and offers more protection than you might think yet they have the feel of going barefoot.Rugged construction, highly breathable and I found them to be true to size, with just enough extra room in the toe box area to remain comfortable as I walk around, climb stairs, raise up on tip-toe, etc.I''d say if you are "between sizes", you might go ahead and size down to the next half size but again, I''m a solid 8 1/2 and found these to be the perfect fit for me.I have to force myself to NOT buy everything in black so I went with the tan/rust color on these and couldn''t be more pleased though I wouldn''t mind having another pair in black!I am really happy with the shoe, the appearance and the cushion. It did however run a 1/2 size too big so I had to return the shoes for a smaller size. I am usually a perfect size 6.5.
