Kamik Women''s Pearson Shearling Boot

I ordered these boots for walking around the bush with the dog and nature photography.They are warm and comfortable.I actually wore them with no socks and my feet were toasty which is a great feat since my feet and hands are always cold.I wish I could find gloves that would keep my hands as warm.The leather is stiff and the fit is wide but I bought my regular size 8.I actually ordered both the 7 and the 8 to try.The 7 fit but I was concerned the length was a little short and felt the extra room inside would be warmer because my feet didn''t touch anywhere.I tied them as tight as I could but still because they are stiff they move on your feet but still provide enough support so you can walk.With these Kamik''s as with a pair of Sorel''s that I have, they are actually more annoying with socks since the movement usually just pulls the sock off your heel.I wear an 8 and bought 8 in both Kamik and Sorel (Joan of Arctic).

In short, I think these boots are so cute, I actually wish I could wear them more but don''t live somewhere that has snow stay on the ground all winter so would look kind of silly wearing them around the city.We freeze and thaw and get snow and rain through the winter which is messy and cold in the bush so waterproof is a MUST.They fit the bill and I would recommend them to anyone.

I was going to a place that had snow, which I am not used to! These kept my feet warm and dry! They are really stiff, but that is not really a bother. I wish I had bought a 7 instead of an 8. The size seemed really big as I am usually a 7 1/2. I overall love them!

I love these, but unfortunately I am returning them. I am usually a 10.5-11 and I ordered the 11. They are too big, even with smartwool socks.

They seem to be really high quality and I love the REAL shearling snow collar (nearly impossible to find in boots less than $100) and that they are made in Canada. I am contemplating reordering them in a 10 and hoping they are not too small.
