Roxy Women''s Fargo Boot

I ordered these boots a month or so ago and just used them for a drive across the country.These were comfortable to wear for 12 hours a day despite being snug, and worked in all the climates we drove through--even when I stopped regularly to jump out and walk around in snow.:)That said, these are definitely not made for serious winter wear (for example: in Fargo, ha), as they just won''t be warm enough and I doubt they''d keep your feet dry for extended periods of time in snow.

Most reviewers have noted that they run small, which is true, but I don''t think they''re too bad.For reference, I normally wear an 8 and less often but sometimes an 8 1/2; an 8 1/2 in these was comfortably snug and allowed them to stretch a bit with extended wear; the heel was mainly where I felt the snugness.

I love these boots, but give them 4 instead of 5 stars because I don''t think they''re durable enough to earn a 5-star rating.But for the price I paid, I''m more than happy with them.

I love these boots. They''re so comfortable, they feel like slippers on my feet. As the other reviewers said the boots run small, I bought an 8 1/2 instead of my usual 8, and they fit perfect.

I chose the Roxy "Fargo" boot (twice) because it was a little lighter weight and looked better on me personally with slender legs but they run small. It was difficult to find a pair that fit. I had to try several times before I got a pair that was not too tight. They don''t loosen up much after wearing them a while so, if you can''t walk away in them, don''t try to break them in and think they will stretch. They won''t unless you get them wet. The "Fargo" is a little slouchy looking and the shaft is not too high. The shaft was a bit thinner and is softer made.

I wear them all day, every day, in cold weather. Warm and very comfortable in Ohio weather. Not for slush at all so you will want to treat them with weather protector before they get wet. They wear fairly well on dry ground. Not made for rough play or work but I really liked the style. Two years on the first pair and they still look great in black. I tuck the pants inside with a little layering at the top. Nice side zippers for easy on and off. The zippers create a nice snug fit at the ankle and allow air to circulate inside while they are not being worn. This boot looks much better on than in the picture.

Roxy needs to work on quality control on the size of these Fargo''s. They Run small in 7 1/2

Update 3/20/13: Really love this boot! They are holding up well on the 3rd season''s use. I wear them every day and still get compliments. They are warm and very comfortable. Don''t walk through water with them because they will soak up water and lose their shape in the toe and instep area. Keep them dry if at all pssible!
