Buy Skechers Women''s Ready Set-Move Sneaker Now
I purchased these because I had the same pair of Asics for years and was way overdue for an upgrade. Mind you, I was not super active when I bought these, but upon getting them, I immediately decided to start training for a 5k. I read the box and all the packaging and it appeared that you could exercise wearing these shoes. Being a novice runner, I didn''t think twice about the fact that they do not claim these are RUNNING shoes. My mistake led to a serious knee injury from running 2 miles a day for a week. I wasn''t sure it was the shoes until I switched back to my old Asics and felt immediate relief. I have since purchased a different pair of shoes for running, but plan to keep the Skecher Tone Ups for walking and light exercise. They are really cute and comfortable, but do not provide proper support if you intend to run.
There weren''t any reviews regarding running when I purchased these, so hopefully now someone is able to learn from my experience.

I am in love with these shoes, They are the most comfortable sneakers I have owned. I''m not a fan of the other teeter totterlooking shape-ups, These just look like normal athletic shoes. I have lower back problems, My pain has pretty much subsided since wearing these to walk in. I also seem to have lost inches since wearing these. I ordered a 9, These shoes seem to run a little bit big. I hope Skechers keep making these shoes. I am a complete believer!I got these to have an extra pair of shoes for work, to give my Shape Ups a break from every day use. When I took my first few steps in these it felt like walking on jello or really spongy pillows. I couldn''t believe how comfortable they were.Unfortunately, for me that feeling did not last.I work 12 hour shifts on concrete floors, and after a few hours that cushiony feeling just went away.I started to feel the hard floor right through the jelly bubbles on the bottom, like they were just flattening completely with every step and not offering any cushion or support. When I got home and took them off, my feet were throbbing. The next night when I put them on again, they were back to being little pillows of air-filled jelly comfort--and again only for a few hours. They are also cut more narrow across the front of the foot than all my other shoes I own in the same size, which gets painful after only an hour or two of walking in them.Other than the width, they are true to size.Overall, I think these would probably be great for doing a 30-60 minute workout, or going for a walk outside or on the treadmill. They just don''t stand up to extended wear and constant walking over several hours--and I doubt that they were meant to.I might recommend them as an exercise shoe, but I would suggest getting a wider width unless you actually wear a narrow.
