adidas adi5 X Turf/Hardground Soccer Shoes

Unfortunately I wont be able to review the functionality of these boots yet.Upon trying these shoes on for the first time they seemed to be at least a full size too long for my foot.I have wornAdidas boots almost exclusively over the past few years so i did not expect that the sizing would differ as much as it did.The width seemed on par for what I was expecting, but the length was really surprising.I have uploaded a picture with them next to my Predators for reference.

I am also concerned about the assembly of the toe region.Take this with a grain of salt because i haven''t worn them in an actual play since they are being returned.I am nervous about the area where the mesh on the top of the toe box meets the (synthetic) leather band that runs around the sides and front of the shoe.This seam creates a noticeable lip where it seems you would lose ball control or possibly miss-hit a shot.Again... I have not worn these in actual play so I cannot confirm this happens, but this strikes me as (possibly) a poor design.

On the positive side, the styling was nice and the shoes were relatively light. The top of the toe box has a grippy rubber pattern on it.I''m not sure how effective this is being on the top of the shoe, but it seems that it would be possible to get some movement on a ball.As a previous post said, the accent color definitely has a bit of orange thrown in but unless you play for Liverpool I cant imagine it clashing that much.

I will update this post if I ever try these in a size that fits, but at the moment I think I''ll just try a different pair.

I have been using adidas footware like from 6 or 7 years ago. Before I use for grass, but now i''m playing turf. This was my very first turf shoes and i like it a lot. Visually they are cute, i love grey color and the red combines with my team shirt. The best for these shoes is the weigth and that are very comfortable. I rate it only 4 stars beacause i think the material wear down to fast, and for this it loose the touch compound.

These are very nice for indoor or turf. I have relatively wide feet but these are fine for me. FYI, when playing indoor they are very "grabby" on the turf. I have had a friend who stopped wearing his indoors for that reason, but I like them.

awesome on turf but ive been wearing them more often on grass fields with very hard soil.they''re not too bad looking either.

Nice shoes, very comfortable, and fit perfectly to size (10.5). I was expecting red stripes and highlights, but they are actually a bright redish/orange. It reminds me of a safety vest or traffic cone. Wife said they clash bad with our red uniform shirts, so they gotta go back.
