While this is not a fancy boot, its simplicity is very attractive.Clarks'' "un" shoes/boots are unsurpassable in comfort.I normally wear a M width, but bought a W in order to wear thick socks.Clarks has a special lambskin lining, and the boots are breathable (that''s the "un" technology). I can wear these for hours. Amazing price!

These are well made, nice looking ankle boots. But there is no lining whatsoever. If you wear them with regular socks, your feet will be really cold. They should have some kind of lining in them for warmth. I was disappointed.

Except for one noticible flaw in the leather these were nice looking boots. Though they were comfortable on my feet, they were very uncomfortable to walk in because of the way they rubbed against the front of my legs. They were a good price and I was sorry to have to return them. However I did find another pair of Clarks boots on Amazon that worked very well for me.

The boot is very well constructed. The leather is really soft and supple, yet offering very good support. A very basic, yet classic walking boot!
