I am a huge fan of the iPath Grasshopper shoes.Unfortunately, this years releases of the Grasshopper are not that attractive to me.So, I set out on a mission to find a pair of iPath shoes that still had the wider size and still were medium height like the Grasshopper.

The Cat Mid (I believe the width is a D) is super close!The width is exactly the same the height is just barely off though.By barely i mean about 1/4 inch.They seem to be very durable and I love the style of a few lines of shoe laces.The shoe laces that come with these are standard size so I recommend either tying a triple knot or getting smaller laces.

My partner really like these shoes, they look good on him and he says they feel good, a little loose/roomy, but he usually wear size 11 and these were 11.5. Previously he had tried some iPaths that were size 11 and were too small, so these being a little roomy doesn''t bug him too much. The fact they are made from hemp is amazing, we try to support hemp products whenever possible, as it is a antimicrobial, sustainable, substance, made from the same plant that can assist many people with many different illnesses. Hemp for a better world!

these shoes look great. the feel? not so much.

they are heavy and clunky, even when they are tied as tight as they can be, they feel a bit big on my feet, and they cause blisters on the back of my heels. (maybe i ordered a half a size too big? oh well.)

but i do love them for when i have to go out in the snow. i will wear thick warm socks with them, and they keep my feet warm and dry through the thick snow and slush. great for walking around the city in the winter time.

i haven tried skating withthem, and i wont. i dont want to ruin the leather.

overall, theyre ok.
