Loved these loafers and for the price you can''t go wrong.

They run a bit small. So go up one size. my son is

a size 2. I ordered him a Size 3.

They were perfect.

If your wondering how I knew to go a size bigger. Nordstrom had same shoe $50. I almost bought them at NORDSTROM

BUT I said let me check AMAZON 1st. Their they were 1/2 the price.

God AMAZON always comes through. I believe shipping was free too. Don''t remember.

Adhere to my kid''s school dress code. My son said these are even more comfy than some spendy Timberland casual loafers I bought him that he''s starting to grow out of. These were cheaper but comfier right out of the box.

I selected these shoes because they looked attractive, had real leather uppers, and appeared to be easy for a five year old to put on his feet by himself.They met these criteria but have fallen woefully short of my durability expectations.I bought these at the beginning of September.Six weeks later, they are about trashed.The sole at the back of the shoe, in the heel area, is worn down practically to the point of separating from the upper.The leather lace around the upper broke on both shoes.I could deal with the leather lace breaking but the sole wearing out?That''s inexcusable.

My son wears these every day to school.He does the usual kid stuff.I don''t think the manner in which he uses the shoes is unusual for a five year old boy.My suggestion to the manufacturer is: if you''re going to design, manufacture, and sell kids'' shoes please take the time to test the product in conditions that are similar to the conditions in which the product is going to be used.If I could figure out how to attach a picture to demonstrate that I''m not just complaining about a bit of scuffing, I would.

I ordered two pairs of these shoes in the darker brown for my two sons, ages 5 and 6, to wear to a christening. They are truly adorable they can be worn with khakis & a dress shirt with socks, or sockless with shorts. My kids said that they are comfortable for shoes that aren''t sneakers, and did I mention how cute they are?
