Minnetonka Women''s Silverthorne Thong Sandal

I bought the brown pair and they look just like the photo. They are beautiful! They appear well-made and it doesn''t feel like the thong will be uncomfortable between my toes. The sizing is a bit off I am ususally a size 8.5 but only whole sizes were available so I got a 9 I thought they would be too big but they fit my foot exactly they are almost like an 8.

I''m currently on my second pair of these sandals.My old pair was black and I wore them so often they finally started to fall apart... but after a good 2 summers of constant (and a bit rough) wear.Now I have the chocolate-colored pair, and I love them.For someone who is picky about thong sandals, these are extremely comfortable.It only took a day or two to break them in and already they feel just as nice as my old sandals.

The only thing I''d probably say is don''t pay full-price for them.I got my first pair at DSW for $25 on sale, and my second pair at a local shoe distributor for about $27.They''re always on sale somewhere, it seems.I love Minnetonka''s sandals and think they''re stylish and comfortable.

(I also own the Silverado style, but I don''t think it''s sold on Amazon)

I first purchased a pair of these sandals in Tombstone, AZ in June 2010.I love them, they were immediately comfortable and I wore them extensively...as shoes do, they are beginning to wear and I began to worry about replacing them (I live in Australia).Imagine my delight when I found them available on Amazon!I ordered the identical pair to those I own and am somewhat disappointed with the new pair.In fairness, I haven''t actually worn them out of the house but the sole is definitely different, up to a quarter of an inch thinner and with a bit more to the arch.They just feel different on my feet than the ones I tried in the store.If I tried these on in the first case, I''m no so sure I would have made the purchase.Hopefully, when the season turns and it is again time for sandals, I will find these to be more comfortable than the initial try...
